Jacopo Jenna was hosted for two weeks at the Seoul Institut for the Arts (South Korea), in June 2019.
His stay was focused on artistic research and on the encounter with local artists and professionals, with whom he developed some workshops and a conclusive presentation of his work.
The research developed in Seoul laid the foundations for Jacopo’s new production project, Orangutan .
Jacopo’s work practices were presented at Fabbrica Europa.
The experience was very positive in all aspects, both professional and cultural, experimenting a context very different from ours.
Personally, I was able to test the artistic research I am developing for my new production, a performance for a dancer who relates to the stage space with a dance video archive.
